Structural Engineer - Temporary works Job in Sydney, NSW

About You
We're looking for someone who has:
• A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Experience in structural engineering, ideally within temporary works, crane foundations, or construction engineering.
• A solid understanding of Australian Standards and structural design principles.
• Experience preparing engineering calculations, reports, and documentation.
• Confidence working with builders, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a practical approach to engineering.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Chartered status, or working towards it, will be highly regarded.

About the Role
In this role, you'll:
• Design temporary works including crane bases, pile footings, shoring, and back-propping systems.
• Prepare structural calculations, reports, and engineering documentation.
• Work closely with contractors and site teams to deliver practical engineering solutions.
• Carry out site inspections and provide technical advice during construction.
• Ensure designs meet Australian Standards and project requirements.
• Build strong working relationships with clients and project teams.
• Contribute to a variety of projects from concept through to construction.
