About You
• Strong civil estimating experience across structures, utilities, or concrete.
• Experience in water or sewer utilities projects, including FRP/composite structures (Sydney Water experience preferred).
• Strong first-principles estimating skills.
• Good understanding of materials, plant, transport, and labour costs.
• Confident with take-offs, tenders, and pricing.
• Clear communicator with teams and subcontractors.
• Proficient with estimating tools/software and Excel.
• Organised, reliable, and thrives in a hands-on environment.

About the Role
• Lead costing for major civil and utilities tenders, including concrete, sewer, drainage, and transport packages.
• Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications to determine scope.
• Prepare detailed estimates, take-offs, and pricing submissions on time.
• Identify risks, propose cost strategies, and support pricing decisions.
• Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Maintain estimating records, rates, and databases.
• Mentor or support junior estimating staff as required.
