Senior Civil Engineer Job in Sydney, NSW

About You
• A degree in Civil Engineering (or similar), with MIEAust or eligibility for CPEng/NER a strong advantage.
• Approximately 8+ years' experience in civil design, ideally within a consultancy environment.
• Proven experience delivering civil design for residential, industrial or commercial land development projects.
• Strong working knowledge of stormwater management, earthworks, roads and servicing design.
• Proficiency in 12d Model, Civil 3D or similar design software.
• Experience with Sydney Water and council approval processes will be highly regarded.
• Confident leading and mentoring graduate and intermediate engineers.
• Strong client-facing skills and clear technical communication.

About the Role
• Lead the design and documentation of civil engineering packages from concept through to construction.
• Manage project budgets, programmes and deliverables, keeping clients informed throughout.
• Design stormwater drainage, roads, pavements and earthworks for development projects.
• Review and sign off the work of junior and intermediate team members.
• Liaise with clients, councils, authorities and other consultants to secure approvals.
• Coordinate with in-house surveying, structural and water servicing teams to resolve issues early.
• Support business development by building strong, long-term client relationships.
