Senior Civil Engineer Job in Sydney, NSW

About You
• A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Approximately 8+ years' experience in civil engineering design within a consultancy.
• Strong background in subdivision, road and stormwater design for land development projects.
• Proficiency in 12d Model and/or Civil 3D.
• Experience with DRAINS and MUSIC; flood modelling experience will be highly regarded.
• Sound knowledge of NSW council requirements and the development approval process.
• Chartered status (CPEng) or working towards it.
• Confident leading projects, guiding junior engineers and dealing directly with clients.

About the Role
• Lead the civil design of subdivisions, roads, car parks and pavements.
• Prepare stormwater management plans, including OSD sizing, basin design and WSUD.
• Oversee earthworks and site grading, plus sewer, service and utility design.
• Produce DA designs, engineering reports and construction documentation.
• Liaise with developers, builders, architects, councils and authorities through approvals.
• Provide engineering support during construction.
• Review the work of junior engineers and designers, and help develop their skills.
