Senior Civil Drafter - Brisbane Job in Brisbane, QLD

About You
• TAFE Diploma or equivalent qualification in Civil Construction, Civil Design or a related discipline.
• 5+ years' experience in civil drafting, preferably within land or urban development projects.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience with 12d is highly regarded.
• Strong understanding of Queensland standards and local council requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate documentation.
• Ability to mentor junior drafters and work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

About the Role
• Prepare detailed civil drawings for roads, drainage, earthworks and utilities.
• Produce accurate documentation for land development projects.
• Coordinate with engineers, surveyors and planners throughout project delivery.
• Review drawings to ensure quality, accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.
• Support project approvals and assist with council submissions.
• Provide technical guidance to junior drafters and contribute to drafting best practices.
