Senior Civil Drafter — Brisbane Job in Brisbane, QLD

About You
•Minimum 5+ years’ experience in civil drafting, ideally within the land development sectors.
•Proficient using AutoCAD; knowledge of 12D or Civil 3D is highly regarded.
•TAFE Diploma or equivalent qualification for Civil Construction or Design.
•Strong understanding of local standards and council requirements.
•Able to translate engineering concepts into clear, accurate documentation.
•Organised, detail-focused, and comfortable juggling multiple projects.
•Keen to share knowledge and mentor junior team members.

About the Role
•Prepare detailed drawings for roads, drainage, utilities, and earthworks.
•Coordinate with engineers, surveyors, and planners to keep designs practical and consistent.
•Review and check drawings to ensure quality and compliance.
•Support project submissions and liaise with councils when needed.
•Provide guidance to junior drafters and contribute to drafting standards.
•Assist with updates during construction and occasionally attend site visits.
