Senior/Associate Structural Engineer Job in Newcastle - NSW

ABOUT YOU
•Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
•CPEng ideal but not essential.
•8 +years’ experience in structural engineering experience, including leadership/mentoring roles.
•Must have experience in managing Structural Engineering Design, in projects in Commercial, Aged Care, Mixed-Use, Retail & Residential Apartments (mid or high-rise).
•Proficiency in Inducta, Micro Strand, SpaceGass or Strand 7 software.
•Strong understanding of engineering principles, design standards, and regulations.
•Excellent leadership, team management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
•Proven ability to solve complex engineering problems creatively and effectively.
•Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
•Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.

ABOUT THE ROLE
•Lead, mentor and continue to grow a team of engineers to deliver successful projects.
•Provide expert advice on design processes, engineering considerations, and innovative solutions.
•Evaluate engineering options, materials, resources, and construction practices for optimal project outcomes.
•Ensure compliance with standards, policies, and guidelines while promoting value-for-money and legal requirements.
•Certify schemes as a registered professional engineer.
