Project Engineer/Senior Project Engineer Job in Sydney, NSW

About You
• Experience as a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer, or an experienced Project Manager able to work independently.
• A background in civil works, demolition, remediation, asbestos or hazardous materials, or subdivision work.
• Confident, professional and credible in front of clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commercially aware, with the confidence to negotiate pricing.
• Street smart, reliable and able to carry yourself well on site and in the boardroom.
• Contract and commercial experience is not essential, as full mentoring is provided.
• Available to start promptly.

About the Role
• Support the delivery of civil remediation, hazardous material removal and pre-demolition strip-out projects.
• Work on contaminated land projects, including soil loadout and removal.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Contribute to tendering, pricing and price negotiations.
• Manage programme, cost, safety and quality on your projects.
• Learn contract administration and commercial management with direct guidance from the business owner.
• Take on greater project ownership as you grow towards a Project Manager role.
