Intermediate Mechanical Engineer Job in Sydney, NSW

INTERMEDIATE/SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Intermediate Mechanical Engineer ready to move from supporting projects to owning them.

About the Role

You'll design HVAC, ventilation, and mechanical systems across schools, hospitals, aged care, and commercial projects. You'll own designs from concept through construction, present your work to architects and contractors, and see the outcomes built.

Day to day, prepare engineering calculations and specifications, coordinate with structural and electrical teams, attend site inspections, and ensure compliance with Australian Standards and the National Construction Code. You're part of a team, not executing in isolation.

What We're Looking For
• 2yrs + experience in mechanical or building services engineering
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and the National Construction Code
• Proficient in AutoCAD; Revit is a bonus
• Clear communicator, practical problem-solver, self-motivated
