Intermediate Civil Design Engineer Job in Brisbane, QLD

About You
• A degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or Civil Design, or equivalent trade qualification.
• Approximately 3-6 years' experience in civil design or civil engineering, ideally within a consultancy environment.
• Proficiency in 12d Model or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Experience across roads, drainage, earthworks or subdivision design.
• Understanding of relevant Australian Standards and local council requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks to deadline.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative approach to working within a design team.

About the Role
• Prepare civil design drawings and models for land development and infrastructure projects.
• Undertake earthworks, roads and drainage design under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Assist with the preparation of technical reports and documentation for council and authority approvals.
• Coordinate with surveyors, planners and other consultants throughout project delivery.
• Support senior team members on more complex design and modelling tasks.
• Contribute to quality checks and design reviews across the team.
• Build client-facing skills over time as you progress within the role.
