Hydraulic Engineer Job in Sydney, NSW

About You
• A degree in Mechanical, Civil or Environmental Engineering or a related discipline.
• Approximately 3-7 years' experience in hydraulic services design within the building sector.
• Solid residential experience, including multi-residential, apartments, build-to-rent or student accommodation.
• Working knowledge of hydraulic design for domestic hot and cold water, sanitary drainage, stormwater and gas services.
• Familiarity with the NCC, relevant Australian Standards and Sydney Water requirements.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD (Revit highly regarded).
• Clear written and verbal communication, with the confidence to coordinate with architects, builders and other consultants.
• Eligible for, or working towards, chartership (an advantage).

About the Role
• Design and document hydraulic services for residential and mixed-use developments.
• Prepare concept, design development and construction documentation packages.
• Coordinate hydraulic design with architectural, structural, fire and mechanical teams.
• Review shop drawings and respond to RFIs during construction.
• Attend project meetings and site inspections when required.
• Assist with fee proposals, design reports and compliance documentation.
• Support and mentor junior engineers and graduates as you build your experience.
