ABOUT YOU
• Strong background in civil and water infrastructure estimating.
• Confident with take offs using Bluebeam and Navisworks.
• Skilled in building cost estimates in Excel: labour, plant, materials, subcontractors.
• Comfortable interpreting specs, geotechnical reports and contract conditions.
• Familiar with Sydney Water and TfNSW standards.
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
• Able to run multiple tenders under tight deadlines.
• Confident owning the estimating function autonomously.
• Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents only, or those holding a visa with full working rights in Australia.

ABOUT THE ROLE
• Prepare cost estimates for pump stations, wet wells, shafts, sewer, stormwater and bulk earthworks.
• Lead negotiations with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Obtain, review and level subcontractor and supplier quotes.
• Identify commercial risks and apply the right pricing strategy.
• Support directors through tender interviews and post-tender negotiations.
• Prepare clarifications, exclusions, qualifications and alternative proposals.
• Manage multiple tenders at once: pricing schedules, methodology and programs.
• Work with project managers and engineers to keep pricing realistic and buildable.
• Support delivery teams after project handover.
• Assist with variations, cost planning and early contractor involvement pricing.
