Engineering Design Manager Job in Brisbane, QLD

About You
• Degree in Civil Engineering with RPEQ.
• 10+ years’ experience in civil design (land development preferred).
• Previous experience leading or mentoring engineers and designers.
• Confident across road, drainage and site design.
• Skilled in 12d, Civil 3D, AutoCAD and similar tools.
• Solid understanding of Australian standards and local council requirements.
• Clear communicator who builds strong working relationships.
• Able to balance technical delivery with commercial awareness.

About the Role
• Lead and support a team of engineers and designers day-to-day.
• Oversee design delivery across multiple projects.
• Review designs to ensure quality, accuracy and compliance.
• Work closely with internal teams and external clients.
• Provide technical direction and help resolve design challenges.
• Assist with proposals, costings and project planning.
• Help develop team capability and maintain a positive team culture.
