Electrical Team leader Job in Sydney, NSW

About You
• A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Senior-level experience in building services electrical design, typically 8+ years.
• Strong experience across power reticulation, switchboards, lighting, data and emergency systems.
• Experience delivering projects from concept and DA through to tender and construction documentation.
• Working knowledge of Revit and coordinated multi-discipline design.
• Chartered status (CPEng) or a clear path towards it will be highly regarded.
• Ready to move from technical delivery into people leadership, including mentoring and managing the work of others.
• Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with clients and project teams.

About the Role
• Lead and develop the electrical team.
• Set priorities, allocate work and manage workloads across multiple live projects.
• Review designs and documentation to maintain technical quality.
• Provide mentoring and guidance to engineers and designers at all levels.
• Act as the main point of technical contact for clients and project stakeholders.
• Coordinate electrical services with mechanical, hydraulic, fire and structural disciplines.
• Work closely with the Director on resourcing, project planning and growing the electrical team.
• Contribute to the continued growth of the electrical offering across the business.

Our client is an established multi-discipline engineering consultancy. With structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, fire and ESD all working in one team, they deliver coordinated building services across a wide mix of sectors. They are now looking for a new Electrical Team Leader to take the reins of a six-person team and help shape what comes next.
