•Proven experience in community and stakeholder relations, with a strong emphasis on direct community contact.
•Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
•Ability to manage and respond to community inquiries, requests, and complaints effectively and promptly.
•Proficiency in organising and executing community engagement events, newsletters, and digital communication platforms.
•Flexibility to split time between onsite and offsite, adapting to project needs and community engagement requirements.
ABOUT THE ROLE
•Develop and implement comprehensive community and stakeholder engagement strategies.
•Act as the primary point of contact for community inquiries, requests, and complaints, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
•Plan and execute community engagement events.
•Oversee the development and maintenance of a dedicated project website.
•Produce and distribute a monthly newsletter to local residents and stakeholders.
•Collaborate closely with the onsite team to understand project activities and effectively communicate progress and safety measures to the community.
•Participate in internal training on health and safety protocols and work procedures.
