About You
You’re practical, organised and comfortable being the go-to person for estimates.
• Background in civil construction, engineering or estimating
• Experience pricing Australian civil projects
• Familiar with Sydney Water, councils or utility authorities
• Confident working with subcontractors and suppliers
• Strong with costs, risk and commercial judgement
• Happy working independently and managing deadlines
About the Role
You will handle estimating from start to finish and stay involved once projects move to delivery.
• Prepare tenders, budgets and pricing
• Review drawings, specs and scopes
• Manage subcontractor pricing and negotiations
• Work with clients, designers and councils
• Set up programs, material forecasts and schedules
• Assist with variations, claims and cost tracking
• Maintain Sydney Water QA and project paperwork
