Civil Drafter Job in Sydney, NSW

About You
• A Diploma or Certificate in Civil Engineering Drafting, or equivalent experience.
• Around 2-5 years' experience as a Civil Drafter within a consultancy environment.
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD (essential).
• Experience with 12d Model and/or Civil 3D will be highly regarded.
• Exposure to land development, subdivision or industrial projects.
• An understanding of Australian standards and NSW council requirements for civil documentation.
• A sharp eye for detail and pride in producing accurate, well-presented drawings.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work closely with engineers.

About the Role
• Prepare civil design drawings including bulk earthworks, roads, stormwater and grading plans.
• Produce documentation for industrial estates, warehouse developments and multi-lot subdivisions.
• Support engineers with drawings for flood and Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD) work.
• Update and revise drawings in response to engineer mark-ups, council comments and client feedback.
• Prepare drawing sets for development applications, tender and construction.
• Keep drawing registers and file management up to date across multiple projects.
