Civil Design Engineer - Land Development Job in Melbourne, VIC

About the Role
A well-established civil engineering consultancy with a national presence and Sydney head office is seeking a Civil Design Engineer to join its Melbourne team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys hands-on design work and wants to contribute to the delivery of practical, buildable outcomes across urban and land development projects.

You’ll work closely with experienced engineers and project teams, delivering quality civil designs from concept through to construction documentation.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare detailed civil designs using Civil 3D
• Produce construction-ready drawings and documentation
• Design roadworks, stormwater and drainage systems, earthworks, and pavements
• Assist with grading, bulk earthworks, OSD and WSUD designs
• Coordinate with internal project teams to meet design requirements and deadlines

About You
• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering
• 5 - 8 years’ experience in civil design within Urban / Land Development Projects.
• Strong working knowledge of Civil 3D
• Exposure to MUSIC and DRAINS (preferred)
• A practical, delivery-focused approach to design
• Ability to manage your own tasks and work effectively within a collaborative team
