Civil Design Engineer Job in Newcastle, NSW

About You
• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering.
• Around 3+ years’ experience in civil design, ideally within land development or infrastructure.
• Experience using 12D, MUSIC, and DRAINS.
• Ability to produce civil design documentation including roads, earthworks, and drainage.
• Comfortable managing your own workload and project tasks.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Familiar with Australian design standards and local council requirements.
• Working towards or holding Chartered status is advantageous.

About the Role
• Prepare civil designs and documentation for land development projects.
• Design drainage and stormwater solutions using MUSIC and DRAINS.
• Produce drawings, reports, and supporting technical calculations.
• Liaise with internal team members, clients, and external stakeholders.
• Manage design components of projects from concept through to detailed design.
• Ensure work meets relevant standards, approvals, and project timelines.
