Associate Structural Engineer Job in Sydney, NSW

As an Associate Structural Engineer, you’ll grow and lead a team of engineers, manage projects, and play a key role in shaping the future of the Sydney office. From landmark high-rise developments to specialist residential and healthcare projects, this is an opportunity to combine technical excellence with leadership and client impact.

Your role - what you’ll be doing
• Lead and manage a team of structural engineers, fostering growth, collaboration, and technical excellence.
• Win work that you're interested in and deliver projects.
• Review and sign off on engineering calculations, drawings, and documentation, ensuring quality and compliance with Australian Standards.
• Act as a key client contact, building strong relationships and providing trusted technical and commercial advice.
• Contribute to the strategic direction and growth of the business in Sydney.
• Champion innovation and mentor junior engineers as part of the leadership team.

Your profile - what we’d like to see
• Extensive experience in structural design and project leadership, ideally with expertise in concrete and PT structures.
• Strong capability in structural analysis tools (e.g., ETABS & Spacegass) with the ability to challenge and guide technical outputs.
• Excellent communication skills and a confident, client-facing approach.
• Proven ability to lead teams and projects in a consulting engineering environment.
• Relevant engineering qualifications (CPEng preferred).
